Baromètre Expat Communication 2023 : White paper

We are proud to present the Expat Communication 2023 Barometer white paper.

Indeed, since 2014, Expat Communication has been regularly taking the pulse of expatriates in order to measure the impact of changes in international mobility on expatriates’ lives and careers. These studies, carried out with a board of loyal partners, are then made available to the players who support expatriates: diplomatic and administrative institutions, HR departments of international companies or service providers linked to mobility. Le baromètre Expat Communication est devenu la source de référence pour la presse généraliste et les media spécialisés pour tous les thèmes liés à l’expatriation. This data also helps expatriates to understand the risks and rewards of their move.

After 9 years, the barometer has reached maturity. Its methodology has now been stabilised. With over 12,000 respondents, we have built up a benchmark panel. Thanks to segmentation by persona, analyses can be cross-checked from one year to the next. The rhythm of four annual surveys is now well established and enables us to measure changes in expatriate morale on a regular basis, a key point in our reports. A major ceremony to present the results at the Quai d’Orsay on 13 December 2023 confirmed the barometer’s unifying role.

Every year, the Expat Communication barometer provides a wealth of analysis to update our perception of the face of expatriation.
