Discover the results of the 2019 Expat Impact Barometer conducted by Expat Communication's Expat Lab.
Expat Communication’s Expat Labconducts benchmark surveys on expatriation (Expatriation Barometer). It feeds all the publications and conferences ofExpat Communication.
The Caisse des Français de l’Étranger and Expat Communication invite you to find the complete and detailed analysis of the third wave of this barometer. Over 7,600 completed surveys and 24,000 testimonials were collected, more than double the amount compared to the previous edition. This detailed analysis of the impact of international mobility on the lives and careers of expats helps dissipate many stereotypes. Beyond the aspects related to expatriation motivations, compensation and the ranking of the most appealing countries, what strikes the most this year in the feedback is the difficulty in balancing careers, personal relationships and family life as an expat, but also when returning home. An essential study to understand the impact of an expatriation on the family and on careers within the couple.
In a press conference, Sylvia O’Higgins, head of mobility at Adeo – Leroy Merlin, Lionel Grotto, CEO of the Choose Paris Region agency and Alix Carnot, associate director of Expat Communication detailed the influence of the Covid-19 crisis on the trends identified by the expatriation Barometer..
