Our studies show that loneliness and a feeling of solitude constitutes one of the principle difficulties of expatriation. It can also be harmful in the context of a job search and skills assessment because it undermines self-confidence and energy. Completing a skills assessment in a well-run group, allows for a naturally creative and energetic dynamic to take shape!
This exclusive and emblematic Expat Communication service called the “Job Booster Cocoon,” gives expat spouses and partners a boost in their career reflection (plans that are clearly defined or still under consideration), and helps them with social integration or reintegration.

The Job Booster Cocoon helps the spouses and partners of your expats to (re)discover their professional goals during an expatriation or when returning home, to change career paths, or to decide on additional training. The Job Booster Cocoon gives them the mutual support needed for a fruitful job search.
We offer this support face-to-face in different cities, but also online on our JBC platform, allowing expatriate spouses living anywhere in the world to conduct their skills assessment together.

What are the objectives for expat spouses and partners?
> Develop and clarify motivating and realistic professional goals in the short and medium term, regain confidence and energy to change career paths and leave your comfort zone, and benefit from the group dynamics and the spirit of mutual support
> Carry out a skills assessment and work on a job search strategy (CV, cover letter, job interview, network, market positioning…)
> Develop and implement an effective action plan prior to an expatriation or during the return home to boost career potential (job search, business creation, freelancing, volunteering, or training)
When should you offer this support to the spouses and partners of your expats? How does it work?
Ideally within the 4 months before or after their arrival in a country / return to their country of origin.
The Job Booster Cocoon involves 1 to 2 sessions per week over 5 months. It can include an optional 5 hours of individual coaching. Each session includes a one-hour group session with the coach/expert and several hours of personal work on the digital platform.
